MEMBER Q & A

This month we asked members about the steps they have taken to improve environmental stewardship. 17 AGF members responded to our survey question. 47% reported that they have begun to implement environmentally-friendly policies in their offices.

Below are the questions posed, along with summaries of the answers we received:

Has your organization taken any steps to improve its own environmental stewardship?

Please explain choices above:

  1. Major focus for renewables portfolio, volunteer involvement & philanthropy
  2. Programable thermostats, using recycled paper, and recycling waste - paper, cans, plastics, etc.
  3. It is a slow process but we are trying to conserve paper and energy. We do recycle.
  4. As the public sector, we have led this effort for many years.
